About Us

Reverse The Curse (Australia), or RTC, supports Cambodian survivors of landmine accidents through the Cambodian Harvest Dried Fruit Co. in Phnom Penh.

RTC is an Australian non-profit organisation operating under the ministry umbrella of ARMS (Australian Relief & Mercy Services) - the overseas aid section of YWAM (Youth with a Mission).

Acting largely in a fundraising and awareness-raising capacity, RTC is committed to providing financial assistance to the Cambodian Harvest Dried Fruit Co. until sales of products completely cover costs.

Vision

The vision of Reverse The Curse is to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of Cambodian people who have lost limbs as the result of an encounter with a land mine. To provide employment and a quality of life that will make them self-sufficient

Objectives

To establish a model, self supporting, sheltered confectionery workshop complex, including specially adapted housing, for land mine victims.

To provide a training centre to equip staff with disabilities, with management, production, sales, marketing, office and computing skills to enable them to ultimately manage the factory, with the ultimate intention that Cambodian Harvest Dried Fruit Co. will become a self-sustainable, profitable legacy to the indigenous Cambodian landmine survivors.
